Airport Facilities

* Travelex worldwide Money (incorporating Thomas Cook) has 2 foreign exchange bureaux at Belfast International Airport situated on the departures concourse and in international arrivals.
* There are 5 ATM's in the airport, they are provided by Bank of Ireland (check-in Hall), Ulster and Northern Banks located in the departures concourse and Travelex in both the departures and arrivals.
* The Business Lounge in association with Bank of Ireland has been designed with the discerning traveller in mind, unwind with a cup of freshly brewed coffee or a choice of complimentary alcoholic refreshments, and enjoy a range of snacks specially chosen from the Cafe Paul Rankin menu.
* Baby changing facilities can be found on the departures concourse between Burger King and the Childrens play area. Additional changing facilities are available at gates 10-14, in the arrivals hall on the ground floor, at the top of the moving walkway and in the international departure lounge.
* The Airport Information Desk is located at the top of the moving walkway, on the first floor. Opening hours are 7.00am - 11.00pm, during which airport customer service assistants will be on hand to provide flight information and deal with any airport enquiries.

Burger King - located in the Departures concourse adjacent to The Food Village.
Cafe Paul Rankin - renowned for luscious lunches, can be found in the main departures lounge after the boarding card check. Here you can savour freshly roasted coffee, indulge in a pastry or enjoy freshly prepared soups, salads and sandwiches over a glass of wine.

Disabled Facilities

* Lifts to all floors are clearly marked and available for public use.
* Wheelchair accessible toilets have been installed throughout the terminal and all of these toiletss have emergency pull cords.There are also braille signs in the most recently refurbished set of toilets.
* Low level kerbs are found at the front of the building for easy drop off and pick up. There is also a low level counter at the Information desk.
* A range of low level public telephones and text phones are situated throughout the terminal.
* 24 hour helplines are situated throughout the terminal building, clearly identified by yellow signage. The forst of these is located in the airport entrance hall for passengers requiring immediate assistance.

GETTING TO THE AIRPORT

By Train

Services to/from Belfast, Lisburn and Londonderry operate from the nearby town of Antrim, just six miles from Belfast International Airport.

By Coach or Bus

The Airbus service operates between the airport and Belfast City Centre every 20 minutes, at peak times Monday to Friday, every 30 minutes on a Saturday and at 30 or 60 minute intervals on a Sunday. This service operates between 0535 hrs and 2320 hrs. From the Airport the bus will set down passengers on request at Templepatrick, The Chimney Corner Inn, Sandyknowes Roundabout, Laganside Buscentre and Central Railway Station as well as Glengall Street Bus Station. Travellers to the airport should board at Glengall Street.

By Car

Belfast International Airport is situated just 18 miles north-west of Belfast and is easily accessed via a network of main roads and motorways.
From Belfast: Take the M2 northbound, turn off at Junction 5 and take the A57 for 7 miles until you reach the airport.
From the north/north west/north east: Take the M2 southbound to junction 5, then the A57 for 7 miles until you reach the airport.
From the south and west: Take the M1 motorway northbound, turn off at the Moira junction and proceed via the A26 and Nutts Corner to Belfast International Airport.

GETTING TO THE AIRPORT

By Train

Birmingham International Airport is located at the centre of the UK's rail network. The airport railway station "Birmingham International" is linked to the Passenger Terminals by the free, frequent Air-Rail Link. The station lies on the West Coast Mainline with fast and frequent connections to the rest of the UK. Direct services are operated by Virgin Trains and Central Trains.

There are frequent trains running between Birmingham International and Birmingham New Street Station, which is located in the city centre. The journey time is between 10 and 20 minutes. Services are less frequent in the evenings and at weekends. From Birmingham New Street there is a wider range of direct services to destinations across the country. Tickets to Birmingham New Street are valid on the trains of all operators.

By Coach or Bus

National Express operates long distance coach services linking the Airport to a number of cities and other airports. Passengers are advised to book in advance, however where seats are available tickets can be purchased from the driver. Digbeth coach station in Birmingham City Centre is the hub of the National Express network with services to most parts of the UK. Digbeth coach station is about 20 minutes away from the Airport and is easy to reach using the 900 bus service.

Local buses link the airport to surrounding districts. These services are provided by a number of operators. All buses stop opposite Terminal 2 in the new Bus and Coach Terminus. The main services, routes 900 and 966, operate from early in the morning to late at night but there are no overnight services.

By Car

Birmingham International Airport is located at the centre of the national motorway network. The airport is just 8 miles (13km) east of Birmingham City Centre and only one mile away from Junction 6 of the M42 from where there are direct connections to the M1, M5, M6, M6 Toll and M40. The airport is signposted from motorways and major roads. The new M6 Toll provides a congestion-free alternative to the M6 between junctions 4 and 11.

Burger King - Burger King offers all your favourite menu products from the high street including flame grilled burgers, fries and soft drinks.
Delice de France - A cafe style outlet which offers a range of hot and cold beverages in additions to a delicious range of pastries, paninis, baguettes and cakes, ideal for takeaways and eating in.
Echo Music Bar and Restaurant - This music bar is the best place to eat, drink and chill! It serves a breakfast menu from first thing in the morning to around 11am, including continental, full English and some lighter healthier options. The lunch menu offers a range of cooked meals, hot sandwiches including hot carvery options and lighter snacks. The fully licensed bar holds a variety of alcoholic beverages including our own local Butcombe Beer on draught.
Food Village - Food Village provides a range of hot counter food including full English breakfast, which is available 24 hours a day. They also have an extensive range of freshly made sandwiches, wraps and salads complimented by their freshly baked cakes and pastries.
Ritazza Coffee Bar - this neat coffee shop provides a range of refreshments and pastries as well as quality coffee.
Soho Coffee Company - The Soho Coffee Company is a local chain offering customers a wide range of fresh quality coffees from around the world and a fantastic menu of organic snacks including baguettes, sandwiches, jacket potatoes and a fresh salad cart.

GETTING TO THE AIRPORT

By Train

The nearest train station to Bristol International Airport is Bristol Temple Meads, approximately seven miles away. The Bristol International Flyer express coach service connects you from Bristol Temple Meads to the airport every 20 minutes during the day.

By Coach or Bus

National Express coaches operate from across the South West and South Wales regions to Bristol Bus Station. From there you can connect to the Bristol International Flyer. The 404/406 overnight National Express services between Penzance and London now route via Bristol International Airport stopping outside the terminal at 0230 and 0215 daily. From Weston-super-Mare, First runs an hourly bus service to Bristol International Airport, calling at various local stops along the way. Service 121 runs every hour from 09.32 to 16.32 Monday to Saturday. On Sundays and Bank Holidays, service 821 runs every two hours between 09.07 and 17.07.

By Car

Bristol airport is 9 miles outside the city centre, just off the A38. From London take the M4 until Junction 19, then take the M32 Southbound, this turns into the A38. From the North take the M5 until Junction 18, then the A4 towards Bath taking the A38 turn off. From the South take M5 north until Junction 22, then take the A38 towards Bristol and follow signs for the airport.

GETTING TO THE AIRPORT

By Coach or Bus

The National Express Coach Service operates regular direct services to Cardiff Central Bus Station. Cardiff Bus 'Airbus Xpress' service X91 operates direct between Cardiff City Centre (including Central Station) and the airport with up to a half hourly frequency on Mondays to Fridays, hourly on Saturdays and Sundays. There are additional bus services that run to Cardiff Airport.

By Train

A rail link connects Cardiff International Airport to Cardiff Central and Bridgend. Trains run each direction every hour, with onward connections possible to other destinations on the rail network.

By Car

Cardiff international Airport is situated in Rhoose, 12 miles west of Cardiff City Centre and 10 miles from Junction 33 on the M4. Exit at Junction 33 on the M4 and follow the A4232. Take the first exit off the A4232 at Culverhouse Cross and follow signs to the airport along the A4050 and A4226.

By Train

Doncaster Rail Station is the closest station to Robin Hood Airport, situated just 7 miles away. A dedicated shuttle service combined with local services link the Airport to Doncaster Rail Station every 30 minutes.

By Car

If you are travelling by car to Robin Hood Airport it is easily accessible from the UK's major motorways including the M62, M1, A1 and the M18.

GETTING TO THE AIRPORT

By Coach or Bus

Charter coaches set down and pick up passengers at the short stay coach park on Bute Road adjacent to international arrivals. All public buses depart from the front of the terminal building. There are frequent services to Glasgow city centre operated by Citylink and Fairline as a combined service 905, as well as Linnpark service 950. All services have drop off points at various locations in the city including close to Glasgow Central and Queen Street railway stations and at Buchanan bus station

By Train

There are direct rail services from Paisley Gilmour Street to Glasgow Central, Ayr and Clyde Coast destinations. There are eight trains per hour (Monday-Saturday) and five per hour (Sunday) from Gilmour Street to Glasgow Central.

By Car

The M8 Motorway via Junction 28 gives easy access to and from the airport. The airport is about 20 minutes drive from Glasgow City Centre and about two minutes from Paisley, the nearest town.

GETTING TO THE AIRPORT

By Train

Gatwick Express is a non-stop service between Victoria Station, London and Gatwick Airport which runs every 15 minutes from 05:20 to 00:50 and hourly overnight. The journey from London to Gatwick takes 30 minutes. Gatwick railway station is directly linked to Gatwick's South Terminal, just a few minutes away from the North Terminal via the free Inter Terminal Transit train which runs every 3 minutes. Trains to the rest of the UK are offered by South Central, Connex South Eastern, Thames Trains and Virgin Trains Cross Country.

By Coach or Bus

Gatwick's coach station is at the ground floor of South Terminal and principle services also call at North Terminal. Passengers arriving at South Terminal, but requiring North Terminal, should take the Inter Terminal Transit. Speedlink Airport Services operates the coach and bus information desks in both terminals and in the Coach Station.

By Car

Gatwick is 28 miles (45km) south of London, directly linked to the M23 at Junction 9 and to the A23 London-Brighton road. Just a ten minute drive away, the M25 further connects with the UK's extensive road and motorway network.

* Baby Changing Facilities are located in all three terminals close to or inside the ladies toilets.
* The Playcare Centre is a dedicated area offers a chance for young children to play or watch TV in a special children's area. Located in the departure lounge in Terminal 1 and open 24 hours a day.

Disabled Facilities

* Special vehicles (ambulift, wheelchairs) are available to transfer non-walking passengers and a companion from the airport building to the aircraft.
* Ramps and Lifts are provided throughout the airport. All lifts have tactile buttons and voice synthesis.
* Specially designed toilets are clearly signposted and available throughout the airport.
* Signs throughout the airport are available to assist you. Using the "T" position on your hearing aid, you can receive additional announcements when standing next to the induction loops, marked with an ear.

GETTING TO THE AIRPORT

By Train

Services run to over 100 destinations in the UK including many tourist destinations such as the Lake District and York. There are direct, night service trains to and from Sheffield, Leeds, Huddersfield, Manchester, Bolton, Preston and Blackpool. Many other direct services are hourly from Monday to Saturday and most run a Sunday service.

By Coach or Bus

Local buses operate every half hour from early in the morning to late at night on a daily basis, including weekends and Bank Holidays. Some services start as early as 3am, and finish as late as midnight to suit the travelling needs of a 24 hour airport and our passengers.

By Car

Whatever direction you are travelling from the airport is directly accessible via J5 off the M56. When travelling by car the terminals are clearly signposted by colour coded cubes for you to follow.

* There are disabled toilets with alarm cords on all levels.
* There are payphones throughout the airport that are at a lowered height.

Newcastle International Airport is linked via Metro to Newcastle Central Station.

By Coach or Bus

There are regular bus services from Newcastle city centre, the Metro Centre in Gateshead and Blyth, to the airport terminal. Local buses operate every 30 to 60 minutes throughout the day from Monday to Saturday. On Sunday there is a limited service.

By Car

Newcastle International Airport lies in the heart of the North East. With the A1 being a principal north south road by-passing the City Centre and leading direct to the airport, Newcastle International is one of the most accessible regional airports.

By Train

The railway stations of Loughborough, Long Eaton, Nottingham and Derby are all located just a short bus or taxi ride from NEMA. These are all served by the main InterCity trains which are operated by Midland Mainline and Central Trains.

By Coach or Bus

National Express Airport service 240 offers direct connections daily to and from Nottingham East Midlands Airport to Bradford, Leeds, Sheffield, Chesterfield, Luton, Heathrow and Gatwick, allowing onward connections throughout the UK. A range of bus services link NEMA to the towns and villages surrounding the Airport and the cities of Derby, Leicester and Nottingham.

By Car

Nottingham East Midlands Airport is in the centre of the country, surrounded by the cities of Nottingham, Derby and Leicester and within easy reach of Sheffield, Stoke upon Trent and Tamworth. The Airport is easily accessible from all parts of the UK, either by road or by public transport.
