| Those seeking information about Florida and its attractions could be interested in a new rollercoaster opening soon. Rip Ride Rockit is being launched at Universal Studios in the summer, according to the Coaster Critic blog. It has conducted an interview with its creative director Louis Alfieiri, who revealed the ride mixes music with thrills and spills. Passengers can create a seven-minute music video of their experience - captured using onboard cameras and special effects – and set up a text message reminder to download it when they get home. They can also choose the type of tunes they want to listen to as they hurtle around the track using a touchscreen. "[It is] billed as the first rollercoaster that transcends a theme park''s boundaries," the news article said. "[Its] bright red track towers over Universal Studios and can easily be seen from rides in neighbouring Islands of Adventure." People going on a Florida holiday could also consider a trip to Disney World. There are a number of new attractions planned for this year at the Magic Kingdom, including parades and a Lilo and Stitch-themed extravaganza. ![]() |
