| Those on a Florida holiday next month have the opportunity to feast their eyes on the woman who has been voted the most beautiful in the state. Miss Florida Lees Garcia will be appearing at the Grand Fort Myers Beach Fourth of July parade, the Lehigh Acres Citizen reports. She told the newspaper: "I''m really excited about the parade Â… it''s kind of going to be my last hurrah [before further competition]. "Hopefully, it''s my last hurrah as Miss Florida." The event will include food, drink and lots of nationalistic fervour, as well as live music and a spectacular fireworks display. Anyone who wishes to know about Florida and how the US celebrates its Independence Day could get a good idea at this affair. Patriotic music and fireworks will commence at dusk at Lynn Hall Memorial Park. Meanwhile, Billie Swamp Safari on the Big Cypress Seminole Reservation in the Florida Everglades will give those who wear an American flag on July 4th a 50 per cent discount off the regular ticket price of an airboat ride.  |
