| A holiday to Florida could take in a trip to the relaunched Hall of Presidents attraction. The revamped area of the Magic Kingdom is to be officially reopened next month with a new Barack Obama audio-animatronics feature. Local newspaper the Orlando Sentinel recently published a blog where its theme park expert Dewayne Bevil took a sneak peek at the technology. Mr Bevil reported it features a recording of Obama reading his oath of office speech in the Maps Room of the White House. Senior vice-president at Walt Disney Imagineering Eric Jacobson explained to the news provider: "He [Obama] has more facial expression than we''ve ever done before. He''s our most advanced figure we''ve done, but he''s not a completely new generation with everything starting over." Other things said to be worth looking out for include a reorganised front room, new wording on interior walls and a re-edited Morgan Freeman-narrated film. Those who keep up to date with information about Florida will be aware that a new Pirate''s League attraction will open at the Magic Kingdom today (June 29th), which allows guests to be transformed into Long John Silver or Jack Sparrow. ![]() |
