Culture vultures may be encouraged to book a holiday to Florida this year after learning about one of its forthcoming winter attractions.

The Halifax Arts Festival (HAF) is taking place in Daytona Beach on November 7th and 8th and could be perfect for those planning a fly-drive break.

It is centred around the works of 230 painters, who will create new masterpieces as the event takes place.

Live entertainment, food stalls and kids'' activities will also form part of the bash, which will be held at the Downtown Riverfront Park area of the destination.

Now in its 47th year, organisers claim 25,000 people regularly attend the bash.

"HAF is a premier annual event in central Florida", officials stated.

The Sunshine State is home to a range of other attractions for tourists, such as Disney World in Orlando and gig venue the American Airlines Arena in Miami, where Britney Spears and The Killers are due to play later this year.ADNFCR-917-ID-19309137-ADNFCR
