| A commentator has been given a sneak preview of a major new attraction soon to be available to those who go on a holiday to Florida. The Rip Ride Rockit, set to open at Universal Studios Orlando, has been reviewed by the local Sentinel newspaper''s theme park expert Dewayne Bevil. He said it is a dramatic experience, describing the thrill of its twists and turns. In particular, he highlighted the musical element of the ride, which sees passengers each played a different song during their journey. "Speakers warn that we are going skyward," he explained. "In effect, we are flat on our backs, gravity pulling against the upward motion of the Rockit." Mr Bevil added although the cars did not go upside down, it had plenty of loops and shifts in speed. Those heading to the attraction next month could coincide their break with a major event which aims to mix tunes and rides. Christian music event Rock the Universe will take place on September 11th and 12th. ![]() |
