| Families planning what to do during a holiday to Orlando could be interested in a new exhibition opening at one of its attractions. The city''s Science Center is to unveil The World We Create on Saturday (September 5th), which will feature numerous interactive areas. Open until the end of the year, it is split into a number of areas, each explaining the ins and outs of a particular subject area. The construction section allows kids to operate a mechanical crane or build a dome structure. Computer-savvy children may also wish to have a gander at the Tech Works portion of the museum, where they will be able to assemble a bike using software which will help ascertain its cost and durability. The Transit Hub, meanwhile, includes a focus on aerodynamic science. Commenting, organisers of the exhibition said: "The World We Create allows young visitors to explore applied science, technology and engineering in hands-on activities that are as fun as they are educational." Other attractions which may be worth a look for youngsters on a holiday to Florida could be Disney World and Universal Orlando. ![]() |
