| People heading away on a holiday to Florida could plan a trip to an event at the Hard Rock Hotel into their schedule. The venue is set to host the Universal Orlando Rocks gig on September 24th, which will see a performance from The Bangles. Formed in Los Angeles during the early 1980s, the group has had hits with songs such as Walk Like an Egyptian and Manic Monday. Supporters of the band may expect to hear these tunes at the concert, along with other tracks such as Eternal Flame. It is taking place in support of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and forms part of the Pinktober bash taking place throughout the month. Limited edition clothing and accessories are available for purchase as part of the event, with a cut of the proceeds going to the non-profit organisation. Meanwhile, those heading to Universal Orlando during the next couple of months could get involved in its annual Halloween celebration, the Horror Nights. They are running on selected dates throughout September, culminating in the big night itself October 31st. ![]() |
