The new water park at SeaWorld is a set to become a firm favourite for anyone taking a Florida holiday.

As such, the Orlando Sentinel has compiled a list of tips to help visitors make sure they manage to enjoy their time at Aquatica without any stress.

In particular, people are advised to make sure they turn up early as it is so popular with visitors that it can reach capacity within just a few hours, especially at the weekend when most families go for the whole day.

Aquatica, which opened in March, has a total of 12 different water rides that range from the sedate to the much more adventurous. In addition, two wave pools covering an 80,000 square-foot area and surrounded with chairs and parasols offer a great place to just relax. The newspaper advised fans of wave machines to head to the corners of the pools, where the waves are highest.

As always, anyone out and about Florida on holiday is reminded to keep applying the high-factor sun block, especially when dipping in and out of the water. Factor 40 is suggested by the Orlando Sentinel''s writer.
