A series of new and exciting activities and programmes will be taking place at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, it has been announced.
Those on Florida holidays can access Florida's so-called Space Coast from Orlando International Airport in less than an hour and learn what it is like to be a Nasa astronaut.
At the Kennedy Space Center visitor complex - described as a "must-see" for holidaymakers who want to learn more about Florida and its space heritage - see the collection of rockets, launch pads and aerospace technology.
There are even launch viewing opportunities at the Florida attraction, which is home to the famous Launch Control Centre.
On Florida holidays, those visiting the Space Coast can strap in for a launch replication in the Shuttle Launch Experience, view a fully restored Saturn V moon rocket, visit one of two IMAX theatres to view the moon landing and other footage shot by 25 astronauts and cosmonauts and even try their hand at the Astronaut Training Experience.
During a day of training the realistic programme includes simulator exercises, a private tour of the space centre and lunch with an astronaut as well as an actual space shuttle mission simulation.
