Olympic swimming champion Michael Phelps has been in Orlando this week after a parade was held in his honour at the Magic Kingdom.
Phelps will be spending a few days at Disney World, the Orlando Sentinel has reported, after he took part in the 'America's Homecoming Parade' at the park.
After winning eight gold medals at the Olympics in Beijing, Phelps is travelling about Florida and getting wet again at Splash Mountain, numerous media outlets have claimed.
It is not known whether Phelps will be donning his Speedos or full-length suit at the attraction but the swimmer was "looking forward" to his visit there, the newspaper reported.
At Splash Mountain people on an Orlando holiday can follow in Phelps' footsteps and climb into a hollowed-out log and plunge 52 feet as part of a wet and wild log flume ride.
Guests are expected to get very wet on the attraction but with Florida's temperatures often around 90C during June to September, they are likely to dry off quickly.
