Walt Disney World is set to welcome a new member to its fun family in the form of the Indy Racing Experience. Due to open on November 17th, the experience will offer visitors the chance to get behind the drivers wheel and steer a custom Indy car around the Walt Disney World Speedway. Drivers will be required to be over 18 years of age and the less brave holidaymakers can even take a trip in the backseat around the oval track, according to Walt Disney World Info. "Millions of people descend on the Orlando area annually for its renowned attractions, including Walt Disney World, so we feel our Indy Racing Experience is both a unique and fitting addition to this exciting landscape," co-owners Indy Racing Scott Jasek said. Also at the speedway for driving nuts thinking about Florida as an ideal winter destination is the Richard Petty Driving Experience - which allows motorists to put their foot on the accelerator of a 600 horsepower NASCAR.
